Biography

I was born in Glasgow but grew up in and around London, I now reside in the beautiful north-east of Scotland.

From a young age, I had a passion for crafting with various materials, paper, wood and Plaster of Paris were among favourites. At the age of ten, I stumbled upon photography, which began as a simple hobby and evolved into a significant part of my career.

My journey eventually took me to woodturning,, where I started by creating bowls and hollow forms. This path, over time led me to explore the realm of sculpture.

Upon reflection, I recognise the intrinsic connection between sculpture and photography, both of these arts encapsulate the interplay of light and form in shaping the viewer's experience and understanding.
